Summary: Our hosta Brigitte and Olivier were very warm and welcoming. The property was very clean and furnished beautifully. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well We had everything we needed - and shops bars and restaurants were within easy walking distance. We woud highly recommend it. We will definitely return. Summary: Unusual gite. An 18th. C building sensitively renovated by M & Mme Duthoit. Lots of space and benefits from a large enclosed and secluded garden. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. My only criticism is the bed which needs improving in terms of mattress and bedding. Check In a bit of a struggle as Mme Duthoit had a lot to tell me and my weak grasp of French made things a bit difficult. Written instructions would have helped - either in French or English. But overall an enjoyable stay.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay in this very old but very well maintained home close to the centre of Pezenas. The kitchen was well equipped, as were the bedroom and living rooms which were on a grand scale with lots of large old furniture giving plenty of storage. M. & Mme. Duthoit were most welcoming and helpful and although my Fench is limited we seemed to manage to communicate. We did find the bedroom cold as the sun never gets to it but in the height of summer I imagine that is a benefit and we found additional blankets so it wasn’t a problem. I was a little disappointed with the garden, not as green and luxuriant as the pictures, but maybe the result of a very hot summer last year. This is a great property, well equipped and comfortable, close to all amenities but down a quiet road, I would highly recommend this and the town of Pezenas.

Summary: Beautifully renovated rooms in an old house conveniently situated near the centre of Pezenas. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were tastefully furnished with some lovely antiques. The large free car park nearby was convenient but access to the property on arrival was difficult - a narrow lane between buildings. The garden was nothing like the photograph and the lawn was just packed dry soil and not pleasant to sit out on. Maybe this was just because we were there at the end of a long dry summer. The owner is very friendly and helpful but doesn't speak any English at all. It would be useful to have some written information in English in the property. Also, we weren't made aware until a couple of days before we left home that we would have to pay extra for bedding. We did enjoy our stay and loved Pezenas.

Summary: Very pleasant two weeks spent in this very spacious and comfortable property. Beautiful furniture and furnishing. Well equipped kitchen with all that you need. Lovely bedroom with plenty of storage space, Good supply of clean sheets and plenty of towels provided. As long as you kept the shutters closed during the day the property remained cool throughout our stay with 30+C temperatures. Lovely garden was a welcome addition with dining table and chairs in shaded position under a tree and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing in or out of the sun. Although the location of the property is very close to the centre of Pezenas, it was always quiet and peaceful. A large car park was just a minutes walk so no difficulty with parking and we were able to park outside the property to off load our luggage. Would highly recommend this property.

Summary: We spend a few days in an amazing traditional ancient home close to the historical center of Pezenas. Very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a beautiful flowered private backyard. The owner was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The historical part of town is fascinating and there are multiple affordable and pleasant restaurants along the way as well as dozens of antiques shops. Definitely plan on returning...

Summary: The house is terrific, the owners have certainly spent some money to bring it to such a high standard. I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't provided. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the sunken bath with shower very practical and there's lots of space in the house and the garden. There's free parking close to the house, the historic town centre, with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants is only a few minutes stroll and there's a baker just around the corner. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful, unobtrusive, nice people. If we were to return to Pezenas we'd definitely want to stay in the house again. Highly recommended. Ken and Jan Hill

Summary: What a great place! Beautifully decorated - everything you could possibly need for your stay - including 2 bikes for excursions into the nearby countryside. Excellently stocked kitchen – every utensil you could need. Very comfortable bed, WIFI connection, large private garden for outdoor lunches – even in February! Pézenas is a large enough town to have a good choice of restaurants, cafés, shops, etc., but small enough to get around in easily and enjoy. The hostess was charming and most helpful. We have rented many places in over 15 years of travels through France and really have never stayed in a better place. We can’t wait to come back!

Summary: We so enjoyed this wonderful home in the heart of the historic centre of Pezenas. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Rare to find a rental with such a lovely garden in the heart of pretty Pezenas. Lunches and aperos enjoyed in a lush green and flowery backyard. Delightful! The owners are very helpful and informative. Furnished with antiques, a truly special home to relax in and discover the history and arts of Pezenas. Fabulous Saturday market just minutes away. Easy access to spectacular villages set on hilltops amidst the vines, the beaches and mountains. Appreciated the bicycles and all the amenities during our month stay in April. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend this special rental.
